Post 6 : Postgraduate Studies 🤓

Hi guys!  I had a rough day :'( I hope you're doing well... For my homework of today I'm going to talk about Postgraduate Studies.

Auch! It's difficult to me this subject because actually I pursue a graduate degree. I'm very interested to have a specialization in Engineering and Soils's area. But when I started working in this faculty as a teacher I left my graduate thesis on one side :( It took a long time preparing lessons and correcting tests.

Well, the reality is that no job is "for ever", so finally I decided to finish my thesis and get my title as soon as possible in search of better paid jobs. I feel that with a university degree is secure a better competitive position within the labour market.

I would like to do research in the future and build an international career if possible. But I'm not considering a PhD in the future. I just want to get my professional degree as soon as possible and I'd like to move to Germany because my boyfriend lives there.

 That’d honestly be a great head start for  my boyfriend and I to start our life together in Europe.

Post 5 : My future job 👩🏼‍🏫❤️🧪

Hi everyone! My English teacher couldn't give us a lecture today, so this time I've some homework to do. I'm going to talk about 'my future job'.

I really believe that my future in uncertain: I don't see myself working on something specific. I've always had several dream jobs that I want to fulfill little by little.

When I was younger, I had a real interest in teaching. I didn't know what subject specifically. I just knew that I wanted to excel at that.

By 2015, in this faculty I was an assistant to a subject for a couple of years. I helped students out of class hours, answered emails. It was very light, even many terms were not even paid (u.u). But, by 2017 I got promoted to a "Teaching assistant". OMG the most fabulous job in the world. Teaching is so amazing! I've always had problems to even give a speech in public, but since I started to give lectures, fear is gone.

Being a student and then a Teaching assistant was a big role change. It's pretty complicated, because we're in a similar age range with students, and it's possible that we'll run into some college subjects, like this one! (Hi guys hahaha).

I was going to talk about the other jobs that I want to do, but I haven't got any more space... I think it'll be always my favorite life job.

Post 4 : Themed Post 2: Climate Change

Hi guys! I hope you're doing well. For my classwork of today I'm going to talk about climate change. Yep, it's a complex issue. I really want to end with all about "pollution", like: air pollution, water pollution, polluting companies, etc. But, I know it's a very utopian dream, so I want to be realistic: Climate change is no turning back.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but really guys... the planet heads up every year, first world and us let that happend. Yes, us too. Nobody stopped the big industries. They didn't set limits upon themselves. Nobody told anything to those that threw papers in the lake. At the end of the day we are all responsible.

I think that possible solutions are: not to buy products wrapped in plastic (organic food wrapped in plastic? OMG what is that?), not to use plastic straws, try to use gas cars, and current and updated legislation to put limits on forest and agricultural production.

And the potential for land use to contribute to climate-change solutions in developing countries should be taken.

If we all do our part, we can mitigate the effects of climate change. If we all do our part, we can mitigate the effects of climate change.

Post 3 : Free- Themed post : Pets 🐢❤️

Hi y'all! For my class work of today I’m going to talk about the first pets I had... And my first pets were a rooster and a chicken; they were a couple hahaha they were very feathery and adorable, but unfriendly. I had to feed them and grind their corn, because they couldn’t eat it whole. So, one day my grandma cooked them ☹. It was sad, but true. Yep, both of my pets died there. 

Today, my present pet can not be cooked, (not in this country at least haha), I have a turtle 🐢; her name is Señora Tortuga; she is so adorable, very intelligent and very fast! I love her a lot.

About the question of the number of dogs that are walked in the street. I think it's super good. I love all animals and looking at them in the street with their humans makes me very happy. I think they have a family that loves them and care about them. It was about time that it has become fashionable to care about your pets.

Post #2 : The best holiday OR The best concert I've ever had

Hi guys! I hope you’re OK J. For my class work of today I’m going to talk about my best vacations I ‘ve had. They were in Punta Arenas. I usually go there for vacations, but the best of them were in 2010 in Parque Karukinka, Porvenir, Tierra del Fuego. That year for my four- month-long summer vacations I went with my grandma, which was a really nice time because we got closer. My granny was the one that raised me. She was always a very strict person, but when we took the trip, everything changed.

We did hiking, we camped near a -noisy- waterfall, we slept on the ground (Yes! My granny sleeping on the ground! Can you believe it?). It was pretty awesome.

They are the best because I got in touch with nature and best of all, I knew my grandmother's adventurous side. I was positively surprised and it was the best.

Post 1 : A country I'd like to visit 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Hi everyone! I comment you that I have the need of improving my English and this blog will be used to do my class work :) so, here it is.

I’ve always wanted to travel around the world, and be open to grow through other traditions. But I have never had the chance to do it, because I work a lot all the time and I'm focused on finishing my thesis (which has taken more time and effort than what I originally expected L). Now, I have more free time in the term and I’d like to visit England. I’m more like a “coffee person”, but I’d really make the effort to drink a cup of tea (hahaha). I wish to settle down in the country with my boyfriend, and I want to go to work in England (work on something related to agronomy, obviously) and learn British English. I like its architecture, history, customs. I really love their accent… I think I’d be very happy there with him.
